We’re looking for talented photographers and videographers—professional, amateur or student—to volunteer their skills at Salute Colorado events and programs. Your work will help tell the stories of our Veterans and capture the impact of our mission.
About the Opportunity:
At Salute Colorado, we honor and support Veterans through events and programs that foster growth, leadership, and community. We are seeking skilled photographers, videographers and extreme hobbyists to volunteer at our events, capturing high-quality content that we can use across our social media, website, graphic designs, and videos.
Whether you’re a seasoned professional or a student looking to build your portfolio, your work will be an invaluable contribution to our mission. By volunteering your talent, you will help us highlight the incredible journey of our Veterans, share their stories, and bring our community closer together.
What We’re Looking For:
We welcome professionals, amateurs and students in photography and videography to volunteer. If you have a passion for storytelling through images and videos and can contribute high-resolution, professional-quality work, we would love to have you join us.
Skills We’re Looking For:
· Photography: Event photography, candid shots, portraits
· Videography: Event footage, short interviews, storytelling clips
· Editing: Post-production editing of images or videos is a plus but not required
How Your Work Will Be Used:
Your images and videos will help us:
· Engage Our Community: Highlighting our programs and events across social media platforms
· Enhance Our Website: Bringing our mission to life visually for visitors and supporters
· Create Impactful Campaigns: Providing high-quality content for graphic designs, brochures, flyers, and more
· Share Veteran Stories: Capturing interviews and behind-the-scenes moments to tell the stories of the Veterans we serve

What to Expect:
As a volunteer, you’ll be given access to our events and programs to capture the moments that define the Salute Colorado experience. Here’s what you can expect:
· Event Access: Get behind-the-scenes access to key Salute Colorado Community events and work with Veterans in our Valor Bridge and Valor Journey programs.
· Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing and communications team to ensure your work aligns with our visual storytelling needs.
· Recognition: Your work will be credited wherever it’s used, giving you visibility and recognition across our platforms.
· Flexible Scheduling: Volunteer opportunities will be available at various events throughout the year, allowing for flexibility based on your availability.
