Salute Colorado supports recently separated military Veterans with three integrated programs, Valor Bridge, Valor Connect, Valor Journey, designed to help them navigate their pursuit of post-service career objectives, and achieve greater community engagement.
Key elements of our programs include:

- Mentorship and Coaching
Program participants are matched with a mentor shortly after they join our program. When recruiting mentors, we focus on identifying professionals in our Veterans’ chosen fields, many of whom have military experience. We also recruit professionals with life and career coaching skills. Mentors and participants meet approximately once a month with additional opportunities to interact at various networking and social events.

- Networking
We offer opportunities to network one-on-one or in group settings with professionals both in the participants’ chosen fields and in other industries. We offer informal opportunities for outdoor adventures as well as classroom learning to facilitate building relationships and fostering peer support.

- Peer Support
Quarterly, social events bring together program participants as well as mentors and other resources in a relaxed atmosphere and often in the great outdoors. These events allow for an informal exchange of stories on challenges faced and obstacles overcome by participants and professionals alike.

- Community Engagement
All program participants build a connection between civilians and Veterans by becoming active in the community and embracing the value of giving back. Volunteer opportunities and other activities provide a chance to share program participants’ experiences as Veterans and to better connect them with civilian communities.
